Social Media Assistant

Overview

 

Hi there! We are an eyelash extensions salon located in the heart of the beautiful suburb Paddington. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are excited to invite passionate and creative individuals to join our dynamic team. If you have a deep appreciation for social media, a knack for engaging audiences, and a drive for excellence, then you might just be the Social Media Assistant we're looking for. Experience is preferred, but we’re open to anyone who is very keen for this role and open to learning.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Proficiency with Canva, CapCut and other content creation tools.

  • Ability to work independently and knowledge in campaigns, products, and audience engagement.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Proficient knowledge of social media platform; Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.

  • Strong interest in beauty services and products.

  • Keen eye for social media aesthetics.

  • Ideally someone with a marketing and/or social media background, or someone who is currently studying marketing.

  • Must be comfortable in front of, and behind the camera!

  • Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Hours of work

 

Available 1-2 days a week, flexible 7-12 hours. WFH option, come in occasionally to shoot content.

 

This is a CASUAL position, however we will require someone who is able to dedicate enough time per week in order to meet the deliverables. However, if you’re really interested and can’t commit the full hours, feel free to apply and put down your availability anyways and we will reach out.

*** Note that the role may expand into other areas of social media marketing and pay may also be determined by the extent of experience in content creation, as well as the hours spent on the position with the above stated as the minimum.***

Responsibilities

​

  • Deliverable: 4-6 short form videos and 5-10 canva posts per week - ranging from: educative, trends, lifestyle videos, packing videos etc., including editing.

  • Brainstorm campaigns and research trends, beauty industry, and products.

  • Use analytic tools to gauge campaign success and prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.

  • General admin work.

  • Manage e-commerce platform and content calendar.

  • Basic photography and videography shoots for content preparation.

  • Must be able to come into the salon to shoot content.
